Founded in 1994 to serve & represent the interests of Collectors in South Africa with a special interest in Arms, Ammunition, Militaria & other collectables.
The Society is the largest Police accredited Collectors Association in South Africa (Accreditation No. 1300036) & is certified as competent to issue Certificates of Antiquity by the South African Revenue Services for Customs & Excise Purposes. Based in Johannesburg, the business capital of South Africa. SAAACA Gauteng serves members in South Africa & Central Africa Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada & the United Kingdom.

The mission of SAAACA Gauteng, a non-profit organisation is:
To promote the collection, study, research, restoration, preservation & responsible recreational use of collectable firearms, ammunition, accessories & related items.
To work with any other body or bodies, for legislation & other purposes supportive of this Associations primary mission.
To promote the appreciation & acceptance of Collectors & Collecting amongst all stakeholders, & to encourage responsible & ethical behaviour of its members in this regard.
